Coffee Fellowship in honor of Valentine's Day ....
Organized by the Congregational Life and Work Committee, volunteers will provide Valentine Cupcakes, cookies and squares for our church family. Covid protocol will remain in place for this event until Public Health authorized a change. |

CONGREGATIONAL ANNUAL MEETING
Every new year the church has a meeting to go over the budget and each committee to show how the church has progressed and to make plans for the upcoming year. |

BEEF SUPPER
To welcome in spring we try to host our annual beef supper. There is a possibility that this will be a "take out" event in view of the ongoing pandemic. This is a popular fundraiser and involves the volunteer efforts of the whole congregation. |
MAY

ANNIVERSARY
May is the month we celebrate the church's anniversary in North Bay. Coffee Fellowship includes a cake-cutting ceremony to honour Emmanuel United Church and it's congregation. |
JUNE
|
SERVICE IN THE PARK
Before we begin our summer we like to have a special service outside in our 'backyard' by the gazebo. This Sunday has a much more relaxed feel as members sit in lawn chairs and sing in the sunshine. In the past, the service concluded with a luncheon in the Bert Passmore Hall but, a bag Lunch picnic is another option while pandemic guidelines are still being followed. |
SUMMER, July and August

GOLF TOURNAMENT
In the past, Emmanuel and other churches have organized a golfing tournament for all ages. Teams consisted of 4 players made up of a youth, someone in church ministry, and a mix of men and women. If golfing is a passion of yours be sure to enter the next tournament! There is a cost per player, but that covers the entire days golfing and food. Recent Covid-19 restrictions have lead to cancellation of this event the past 2 years. |

WELCOME BACK LUNCHEON
Every September the Congregational Life and Work Committee host a special luncheon to welcome everyone back after the summer months of travel and vacations. |
OCTOBER

TURKEY SUPPER
For the past 2 years, our annual Turkey Supper has been on hold. We usually serve over 500 hot turkey dinners with all the fixings. This is our most popular event of the year so tickets go early! |

TEA AND BAZAAR
Bring your friends for a wonderful time of fellowship, treats and the possibility of finding a new little treasure. Check back later for more information. |

COOKIE WALK
December means Christmas cookies and treats! Every year we have a Cookie Walk, come out to help support the church and purchase as many dozen cookies, squares and tarts as you desire! |

COOKBOOK
Our latest cookbook was published in 2021- just in time for Christmas! In addition to some tasty recipes, the book contains personal stories from the contributing authors. |

CAROL SING
Every Christmas a group of brave singers get together to go caroling. They visit members of the congregation that can't always make it out to the Sunday service. This event is lead by Bud McMartin and concludes with hot chocolate and cookies back at the church. |
