What to Expect on a Regular Sunday Morning

Our services start at 10:30am from August to June. Our church is closed the month of July. Communion is on the first Sunday of the month, except July and August, on occasion special events necessitate us to move this around. We occasionally have a special hymn sing before the service. This starts at 10:15am.
We have a dedicated choir under the direction of John Henderson.
Children are very valued participants in the life of our congregation, we always have a special part in the service for them and they are invited to participate in Communion like everyone else.
Common Questions:
About the Neighbourhood
North Bay is a beautiful northern city of 53,000 at the crossroads of Hwy 11 &17. It is known as the "Gateway to the North". Situated on the north shore of Lake Nipissing, it is a very comfortable location for fishing, hunting and tourism. The housing market is very stable as people value this location to raise their family or retire.
Who do I contact with questions?
Our office hours are 12 noon to 4:00 pm, Wednesday to Friday. Contact JoAnne Maeck in our office.
What music is played during the services?
Hymns are a traditional and contemporary mix from Voices United and More Voices. Anthems are from a wide range of sources.
Are you wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the church is entirely on ground level and wheelchair accessible. There are handicap parking spaces in the parking lot off of William Street.
How do people dress for the service?
Mostly casual, but we don't worry about it so you shouldn't either.
What happens after the service?
We have a time of fellowship in our Hall, coffee, tea, juice and cookies, all are welcome to stay and visit.
We hope you and your family will have a warm and spirit-filled experience with us as we worship and fellowship together at our services, events, and ministries.
